Wood Green Care Home comprises 77 comfortable en-suite bedrooms furnished with TV point,
complimentary high speed Wi-Fi and bathroom with a walk-in shower facility. All rooms are equipped with a profiling bed and secured wardrobes. Rooms have great views of the garden and the natural greenery surrounding Wood Green.
The home is set across three floors. Ash, on the ground floor, has 23 bedrooms. Oak, situated on the first floor, has 19 rooms and Elm, on the second floor, has 26 rooms.
Our bespoke unit, Cedar, is also on the first floor and consists of 9 bedrooms.
Wood Green has a variety of on site facilities, including a hairdressing salon, podiatry services, large gated garden and designated outdoor smoking facilities. Each floor has a servery, communal lounge, dining area, plus a unique and creatively decorated recreation lounge that residents can use accordingly.
The home has excellent parking facilities and is easily accessible via all public transport options. There are also outdoor benches that residents and families can use during their walks around the home.
The team at Wood Green believes that later life should be enjoyed; therefore we make sure that residents experience an assortment of daily activities for mental and physically stimulation to enrich their quality of life. The home embraced new initiatives including the Linking Generations Project, where residents developed a relationship with local schools, initially through pen pals (letter writing project) that developed further with meeting the children via Zoom and eventually inviting them to the home to personally meet and work on arts and crafts together.
