Willow Tree Lodge is a purpose-built luxury facility which provides 24-hour nursing care for 18 individuals with brain and spinal injuries, other physical disabilities and mental health illnesses. The emphasis is put on meeting the resident’s unique needs within a secure, engaging and homely care environment. It is specifically designed to be a smaller unit with bespoke services that provide optimal levels of person-centred care. Willow Tree promotes independence and individuality while maintaining a fulfilling life through nursing care. Our care staff are compassionate, competent and equipped with specialist care skills to meet the needs of each individual.
Wood Green Care Home comprises 77 comfortable en-suite bedrooms furnished with TV point,
complimentary high speed Wi-Fi and bathroom with a walk-in shower facility. All rooms are equipped with a profiling bed and secured wardrobes. Rooms have great views of the garden and the natural greenery surrounding Wood Green.
The home is set across three floors. Ash, on the ground floor, has 23 bedrooms. Oak, situated on the first floor, has 19 rooms and Elm, on the second floor, has 26 rooms.
Our two bespoke units, Cedar and Maple. Cedar is also on the first floor and consists of 9 bedrooms. Maple is located on the second floor and consists of 9 bedrooms. Both units specialising in complex dementia care.
Willow Tree Lodge has a communal lounge, kitchen and dining area. Within Willow Tree, there is a quiet lounge in both Cherry and Apple lodge (2nd and 3rd floor units) that residents can use at their leisure. The home has a gated garden co-managed with our residents and an activity centre for residents access. There is an in house hairdresser or the opportunity to go off-site to a nearby hair salon or barber shop. The home can also coordinate podiatry services. Willow Tree is located near local shops and is accessible via nearby public transport links.
Willow Tree Lodge works alongside residents, families and the community to offer meaningful and rewarding activities. These help to provide purpose and structure, build confidence, maintain social relationships and offer an avenue for people to express themselves.
Willow Tree works alongside Linking Generations to create events that bring residents and the community closer together in imaginative and inspiring ways.
“Advanced Care Planning Seed Fund”, a programme to support creative projects, approved and commended by Robin Swann, was adapted by Willow Tree to empower individuals by allowing self-expression and exploration through art in Nature.
Willow Tree has also established a 7 week dance and movement programme tailor made to individual physical and sensory needs.
